Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of the commercial team supporting materials buying for live projects.
• Investigate new suppliers to strengthen the supply chain.
• Provide monthly site material accruals.
• Understand construction drawings and components.
• Project and report material cost increases.
• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials & plant.
• Understand project contractual requirements and relay them to suppliers and sub-contractors.

Skills and Expertise

• Materials buying experience (essential).
• Developer background (preferred).
• Motivated and looking to progress career.
• Strong understanding of construction.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
