Deputy Care Home Manager Peterborough
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop care teams across multiple care homes in the region.
- Implement action plans to meet resident needs.
- Lead teams in the absence of the General Manager, covering care standards, staff motivation, and regulatory compliance.
- Inspire a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible quality of life for residents.
- Monitor standards through regular audits and supervised clinical practice.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals.
Skills and Expertise
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
- Teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.
- Previous experience in a nursing home setting.
- Evidence of continual professional development.
- Experience managing residents with diverse health needs.
- Experience in managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
- HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing.
- Understanding of budget management.
- Experience supporting newly qualified nurses.
- Compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
