Domestic Care Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Company Mission Statement at all times.
- Ensure the Homes furniture, furnishings, and fittings are sufficiently clean.
- Ensure all surfaces of floors, walls, and ceilings are sufficiently clean.
- Clean carpets when necessary.
- Empty wastebaskets and bins daily ensuring safe waste disposal.
- Clean internal windows monthly.
- Clean bedrooms thoroughly once a week.
- Ensure communal areas are cleaned daily.
- Clean sinks, en-suites, bathrooms, and toilets daily.
- Store chemicals in line with COSHH requirements.
- Re-stock paper products and dispensers.
Skills and Expertise
- Understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008
- Ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Genuine interest in a social care environment.
- Care and compassion.
- Team player.
- Ability to work in a physically and mentally demanding environment.
