Class 2 Day Driver Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network throughout Central Scotland.
- Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
- Planning daily delivery routes.
- Communicating with transport team for updates and customer management.
- Attending regular training sessions.
Skills and Expertise
- UK Class 2 C Driving Licence
- Current DCPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Confident, polite, and team player
- Strong geographical knowledge
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Salary: 36,446pa – 43,329pa (dependent on hours)
- Monday-Friday work hours, starting circa 07:00hrs
