Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to reactive customer HR Employment Law queries promptly in a contact centre environment.
  • Managing time effectively to maximize availability for customer interactions.
  • Contributing to identifying needs and generating income.

Skills and Expertise

  • Experience in an HR, employee relations, or employment law role.
  • Ability to deliver and advise on statutory processes and procedures (strong communication skills).
  • Ability to weigh options and make informed decisions, considering client needs.
  • Strong administration, IT, and research skills.
  • Ability to work at pace to meet deadlines and solve complex issues while maintaining quality.
  • Experience supporting disciplinary and grievance hearings.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the ACAS code of practice on disciplinary and grievance, statutory employment law, employee relations, HR and best practice.
  • Ability to build effective and trusted partnerships with clients, handling diverse client channels and sectors.
  • High standards of attention to detail and client service.
  • Qualification in employment law or HR is advantageous, but not essential.
