Employment Law and HR Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Responding to reactive customer HR Employment Law queries in a timely manner in a contact centre environment
- Managing your time to maximise your availability for customer interactions
- Contribute to identify needs and generating income
Skills and Expertise
- Experience in an HR, employee relations or employment law role
- Ability to deliver and advise on statutory processes and procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to weigh up pros and cons of different options to make well informed decisions with the needs of clients in mind
- Strong administration, IT and research skills
- Ability to work at pace to meet deadlines and solve difficult issues while maintaining the quality of work
- Background of supporting disciplinary and grievance hearings
- Up-to-date knowledge of the ACAS code of practice on disciplinary and grievance, statutory employment law, employee relations, HR and best practice
- Ability to build effective and trusted partnerships with clients, as well as to deal with clients from multiple channels and sectors
- High standards of attention to detail and client service
- A qualification in employment law or HR is an advantage
