SEN Teaching Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Student Support: Build strong, caring relationships, creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Promote Independence: Encourage students’ personal growth and foster positive behaviour.
- Assist Learning: Deliver differentiated educational activities to help students achieve their potential.
- Classroom Assistance: Support the teacher with daily classroom operations and tasks.
- Adaptability: Respond flexibly to the dynamic needs of the school.
- Holistic Development: Support students’ cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being.
Skills and Expertise
- Education: Minimum Grade 4 (GCSE) in Maths and English.
- Safeguarding: Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- SEN Experience: Prior experience with SEN learners is desirable.
- Transportation: Full UK driving licence or reliable commute to Borehamwood.
- Compliance: Full-time right to work status in the UK is essential.
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Salary: 85-90/day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)
- Contract: Temp to Perm
- Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00 – 16:00)
