SEN Tutor – Greater Manchester
Key Responsibilities
- Providing 1-1 tuition to young people (aged 4-19) not in education.
- Supporting students with a range of needs, including SEND (Autism, learning difficulties), Children in Care, School Refusers, SEMH (anxiety, severe mental health needs), Asylum Seekers, and excluded pupils.
- Providing support in English, Maths, and Life Skills.
- Preparing and planning lessons and resources.
- Travelling between student locations as required.
Skills and Expertise
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent qualification, or experienced tutor.
- Confident lesson planning and resource preparation skills.
- Resilience and patience.
- Compassion and understanding of diverse family backgrounds and needs.
