SEN Learning Support Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, caring relationships, creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage students’ personal growth and foster positive behaviour.
- Deliver differentiated educational activities to help students achieve their potential.
- Support the teacher with daily classroom operations and tasks.
- Respond flexibly to the dynamic needs of the school.
- Support students’ cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being.
Skills and Expertise
- Minimum Grade 4 (GCSE) in Maths and English.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- Prior experience with SEN learners is desirable.
