Key Responsibilities
- Managing, ordering, receiving, maintaining, and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and effectively, meeting regulatory standards.
- Providing person-centred health advice to patients (prescription and over-the-counter), referring to other healthcare professionals when needed.
- Supporting the day-to-day pharmacy operation, including clinical governance, business operation, and process management, and supervising other pharmacy staff.
- Providing training to pharmacy and wider healthcare teams.
- Maintaining quality service through auditing, evaluating, and responding to feedback.
Skills and Expertise
- Pharmacy experience (desirable).
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Level 3 training (nationally recognised qualification, equivalent to A level, enabling registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)).
