Finance Business Partner – Adult Social Care
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting effective revenue budget setting, monitoring, and year-end processes
- Providing technical support and expert advice to budget holders and officers to support decision-making
- Pro-actively seeking opportunities to improve financial support to the department and drive efficient and effective processes
- Improving the use, interpretation, and analysis of data and business information in financial reporting, modelling, and to support decision-making
- Liaising with Council staff and schools to deal with and resolve queries
Skills and Expertise
- Excellent data interpretation and information analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
- Excellent IT and communication skills
- Finance business partnering and data analysis experience
- Experience building good relationships and working closely with the service
