Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Welder Fabricator to join our dynamic team.
In this entry-level role, you will learn the fundamental skills of welding and fabrication under the guidance of experienced professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the welding industry, gain hands-on experience, and develop your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and fabrication of metal components according to drawings and specifications.
Learn and practice various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Operate and maintain welding tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Support skilled fabricators in assembling and welding components.
Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets company standards and specifications.
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Participate in training sessions and seek opportunities for skill development.
Qualifications:
GCSE maths and english or equivalent preferred.
Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication processes is a plus but not required.
Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Good physical stamina and dexterity.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Safety-minded with a willingness to adhere to all safety regulations.
