Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a client caseload and supporting team members with their caseloads.
- Overseeing the quality of assessments and interventions, focusing on sensory processing and motor skills development.
- Delivering tailored therapy interventions in home, school, and clinic settings.
- Providing therapy plans and progress updates to parents and professionals, maintaining consistency across the team.
- Conducting online therapy sessions where needed.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, educators, and administrative staff.
- Designing and implementing specialist intervention programmes for clients with complex needs.
Skills and Expertise
- Previously worked as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist or in a similar role.
- At least 5 years’ experience in occupational therapy, with at least 2 years in a paediatric setting.
- A bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy with HCPC registration.
- A certificate in sensory integration or sensory integration experience.
- Experience in a senior or supervisory role (ideal).
- Right to work in the UK.
