Clinical Support Worker

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Radiographers and maintaining departmental workflow.
  • Preparing and assisting patients for X-ray or Ultrasound clinics.
  • Chaperoning patients during examinations, ensuring patient dignity and privacy.
  • Assisting with administrative duties, including reception, bookings, and patient inquiries.
  • Preparing and cleaning examination rooms.
  • Maintaining and ordering clinical supplies.
  • Identifying and preparing patients for examinations in a timely manner, observing dignity and privacy.
  • Chaperoning patients during ultrasound examinations.
  • Ensuring X-ray and Ultrasound rooms are prepared and clean before each examination.
  • Monitoring and ordering clinical supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Assisting the administrative team with patient registration and bookings.
  • Handling patient inquiries and bookings over the telephone.

Skills and Expertise

  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Good computer skills.
