Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Engineering team adheres to Health & Safety compliance standards
• Conduct regular 1-2-1s and PDP discussions with team members to drive performance
• Manage contractors and suppliers
• Own the Mller Engineering Excellence improvement roadmap for blow moulding
• Develop and manage effective planned, preventative, reactive and remedial maintenance systems, including CMMS
• Coordinate and direct team workload to meet business needs
• Deliver on Engineering Excellence strategy and improvements
• Support Site Audits in maintaining BRC and ISO accreditation standards
• Prioritise and implement blow mould efficiency improvements, continuous improvement projects, and Capex project prioritisation
• Manage site Engineering budget (controls)
• Deliver Continuous Improvement projects on time and in full
• Encourage improvement opportunities and convert them into Continuous Improvement actions
• Proactively manage sickness, performance, or disciplinary issues
• Manage engineering budget/spend/Capex/Project improvement controls and site engineering team

Skills and Expertise

• Engineering experience through apprenticeship or similar
• Prior leadership experience (preferably engineering manager experience)
• FMCG background
• HNC Engineering
• NVQ Management/ FFL trained
• IOSH Managing Safely
• WCM training
• Knowledge of CMMS controls
• Lean/Continuous Improvement methods
