Commercial Executive – Camden London
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a commercial plan for brands (e.g., Casual Dining, Coffee, Retail).
- Support EBITDA growth through like-for-like sales and margin improvements.
- Plan and execute commercial plans to meet stretch EBITDA targets.
- Prepare and submit marketing briefs for services like NPD, design, and brand development.
- Track brief progress, ensuring delivery on time and budget.
- Ensure successful implementation of commercial initiatives via internal stakeholder processes.
- Track brand performance (sales & GP targets).
- Support full rollout across brands or product categories.
- Make course corrections based on testing and learning.
- Support range, pricing, and POS for units.
- Maintain brand support materials (standards, guides, templates, lists).
- Monitor competitor activity (products, promotions, pricing).
- Monitor commercial activity through site visits and feedback to stakeholders.
- Liaise with teams for product availability and stock management.
- Respond to ad-hoc brand queries from various teams.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience in price, range, display, upselling, margin, or category optimization.
- Knowledge of food & beverage/grocery industry trends (depending on brands).
- Understanding of operational realities (waste, labor, equipment, space).
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and brand/category management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands.
