Functional Assessor – Occupational Therapist
Key Responsibilities
- Assess individuals and how disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
- Collect medical history and perform physical examinations.
- Produce concise and accurate reports for the DWP.
- Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video.
- Uphold best practice standards during assessments.
Skills and Expertise
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with 12+ months post-registration experience.
- Continuous Professional Development demonstrated on CV.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, negotiation abilities.
- IT skills and software experience.
- Self-aware with a focus on professional development.
- Integrity, customer confidentiality, and empathy.
- Quality customer service skills, demonstrating respect and sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Reliable and efficient team member, supporting the multi-disciplinary team.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Competitive salary: 37,500 – 43,000 + 2,000 after one year + bonus up to 10%.
- 9-5 hours, Monday-Friday, part-time available.
