Functional Assessor – Physiotherapist
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing individuals and the impact of disabilities/conditions on their work life.
- Gathering medical history and performing physical examinations.
- Creating concise and accurate reports for the DWP.
- Meeting individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video.
- Upholding best practice standards in assessments.
Skills and Expertise
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapist with minimum 12 months post-registration experience.
- Experience in functional assessment and clinical decision making (advantageous).
- Continuous Professional Development demonstrated on CV.
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- ECDL or equivalent (advantageous).
- Understanding of clinical governance and customer service targets.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, negotiation ability, and adaptability.
- IT skills and software experience.
- Self-awareness and focus on professional development.
- Integrity, maintaining confidentiality, and a commitment to quality customer service.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be a reliable and efficient team player.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

- Competitive salary (37,500 – 43,000 + 2,000 after one year + up to 10% ongoing bonus).
