Sous Chef – London
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and head chef standards, ensuring food safety.
- Oversee dish production for assigned station, managing supplies and ensuring cleanliness.
- Maintain high-quality dish standards for presentation and taste.
- Communicate effectively with team members, assisting colleagues and coaching junior chefs.
- Collaborate with head chef on menu development and recipe improvement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring equipment functionality.
Skills and Expertise
- Proven experience as Sous Chef (minimum 5 years preferred).
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
