Chef de Partie – Northwood HQ

Key Responsibilities

  • Cooking and preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
  • Function work, including silver service food preparation
  • Working effectively as part of a chef team
  • Following recipes, preparing, cooking, and serving meals
  • Completing daily paperwork for due diligence
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock checks
  • Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records
  • Sharing responsibility with the Chef/Catering manager for food deliveries
  • Monitoring and recording temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries
  • Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen cleaning
  • Full knowledge of all menu items
  • Managing production and food levels to minimize waste
  • Undertaking relevant training as required

Skills and Expertise

  • Food Hygiene level 2 or higher
  • Relevant culinary qualification
  • Previous catering/Mess operational experience (preferred, but training provided)
  • Confident chef
  • DBS check required
