Location: One of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is set in ten acres of stunning grounds. With 4 AA red stars, 3 AA rosettes, and a member of Relais & Châteaux, Buckland Manor offers employees the opportunity to work within a traditional, yet friendly English country house hotel.
SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team.
Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over and above base pay, for a full time employee.
The hotel may be able to offer on-site staff accommodation in order to help the newest members of the team settle into life at the hotel and local area, plus free parking is available on-site.

For this role you will need to be a hands-on chef who leads from the front, be knowledgeable about and different cooking
styles, be good at developing others and be
happy to be part of the kitchen
management team.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS SOUS
CHEF YOU’LL…
- Be driven to smash targets with your
team. - Train and inspire your team to
deliver food to be proud of. - Support your Head Chef with food
ordering, food preparation and stock control. - Have
mastered the art of working with a branded menu. - Have confidence in
managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team. - Oversee that your team
conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
