Experienced Back Office Support Fixed Income
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the booking and confirmation process for complex fixed income trades, ensuring timely and precise handling.
- Overseeing settlement activities and conducting reconciliations to resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Ensuring all fixed income transactions comply with regulatory standards, including comprehensive record-keeping and reporting.
- Identifying and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Serving as the primary contact for clients, brokers, and counterparties to resolve trade-related issues.
- Leveraging industry-standard software to support fixed income transactions and reporting needs, providing troubleshooting as needed.
Skills and Expertise
- At least 3 years in a back-office role, ideally with exposure to fixed income or related financial products.
- Solid understanding of bonds, loans, structured products, and general market practices.
- Familiarity with compliance standards pertinent to fixed income trading and settlement processes.
- Strong ability to analyse discrepancies and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Proficiency with industry tools such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
