Experienced Back Office Support Fixed Income

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the booking and confirmation process for complex fixed income trades, ensuring timely and precise handling.
  • Overseeing settlement activities and conducting reconciliations to resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Ensuring all fixed income transactions comply with regulatory standards, including comprehensive record-keeping and reporting.
  • Identifying and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serving as the primary contact for clients, brokers, and counterparties to resolve trade-related issues.
  • Leveraging industry-standard software to support fixed income transactions and reporting needs, providing troubleshooting as needed.

Skills and Expertise

  • At least 3 years in a back-office role, ideally with exposure to fixed income or related financial products.
  • Solid understanding of bonds, loans, structured products, and general market practices.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards pertinent to fixed income trading and settlement processes.
  • Strong ability to analyse discrepancies and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Proficiency with industry tools such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
