Care Assistant Blyth
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced care assistant to support a young woman in the Blyth area. The role involves building confidence, fostering independence, and encouraging engagement in social and leisure activities. Initial support will be provided at home, gradually transitioning to community involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting social and leisure activities
- Promoting independence and self-sufficiency
Skills and Expertise
- Experience supporting individuals in home and community settings
- Calm and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of British Sign Language (preferred, but not essential)
- Ability to manage a wheelchair (including lifting and transferring)
