Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the production of food items according to Sous Chef/Head Chef instructions.
- Understand daily bookings and potential business impacts.
- Be knowledgeable of the menu and specials.
- Ensure timely food preparation.
- Maintain high presentation standards for all dishes.
- Minimize food waste through efficient portion planning.
- Adhere to excellent food hygiene practices throughout the process.
- Maintain HACCP compliance in all kitchen and food service areas.
- Comply with all Health and Safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate energy and cost awareness for operational savings.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and report any issues.
- Follow company procedures and internal audit requirements.
- Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff.
