Nursery Manager – Footsteps Stafford
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding and ensuring EYFS statutory framework compliance.
- Embedding company policies and procedures.
- Facilitating regulatory body inspections and implementing recommendations.
- Implementing effective key person approach for secure child attachments and staff development.
- Ensuring stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences for children.
- Promoting self-evaluation and reflective practice.
- Managing complaints and concerns promptly and informing senior management.
- Maintaining accurate records on EyMan and related files.
- Participating in nursery marketing activities (publications, advertising, PR, website).
- Promoting positive relations with staff.
Skills and Expertise
- Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification
- 1+ year experience in Early Years
- Strong knowledge of EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements
- 1+ year management experience
- Level 5 qualification (Childcare/Management/Leadership – desirable)
- Experience with successful Ofsted inspections (Good/Outstanding – desirable)
