Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children in all areas of the curriculum
- Assisting in the preparation of the learning environment
- Liaising with staff
- Maintaining pupil records
- Carrying out administrative tasks to support the teacher
- Supporting children at break and lunch times
- Setting up play provision or assisting with family dining
- Supporting children in learning to read
- Leading PE and Games sessions
- Going on school trips and residentials
- Mentoring and tutoring individual children
- Leading playtime activities
- Supporting within the family dining service
Skills and Expertise
- Experience working with children
- Enthusiasm for supporting and educating primary aged children
- Passion and commitment to wanting children to develop a lifelong love of learning
